The bite started early March, producing a consistent bite and a large number of big fish. This bite is still going strong...
April started of with the usual good number and size of fish. But with a changing river level it became more difficult to produce a decent bite...
The spawn came and went in a heart beat and the fish should recover quite nicely due to a cooler than normal water temp. This is great news as this should extend the bite into the early spring, making June not such a bad bite as it has been in the past. And if the water heights remain up we'll have plenty of area to cover as well... Lastly the topwater bite is on and they're starting to chase bait which will be lots of fun!
